Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in in-person networking events and workshops hosted by the Yorkshire Wellbeing Collective (YWC). By registering for or attending an event, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Event Registration & Payments

2.1. Registration is required for all events and workshops and is subject to availability.
2.2. Payment must be made in advance via accepted methods: Direct Debit, Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, or Bank Transfer. 2.3. Event fees are refudable up to 14 days before the event. 7 - 14 days before the event, you will get a 50% refund and a credit transfer to a future YWC experience. Less than 7 days before the event, no refund. You may transfer your spot to a friend or a colleague.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

3.1. Cancellations are non-refundable.
3.3. If YWC cancels or reschedules an event, attendees will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to a future event.

4. Event Conduct & Participation

4.1. Attendees must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
4.2. YWC reserves the right to refuse entry or remove attendees who engage in inappropriate behaviour, including harassment, discrimination, or disruption.
4.3. Attendees are responsible for their own safety and personal belongings.

5. Photography & Media Consent

5.1. YWC may take photos and videos during events for promotional purposes.
5.2. By attending, you consent to the use of your image in marketing materials unless you notify YWC in writing before the event.

6. Liability & Disclaimers

6.1. YWC is not responsible for any personal loss, damage, or injury sustained at events.
6.2. Attendees participate at their own risk and should consult a professional if engaging in activities that may impact their health or wellbeing.

7. Data Protection & Privacy

7.1. Personal data collected during registration will be used solely for event administration and communication, unless attendee gives consent to hear further communication from YWC related to offers and services it provides.
7.2. Data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

8. Amendments to Terms

8.1. YWC reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
8.2. Attendees will be notified of significant changes in advance.

By attending a Yorkshire Wellbeing Collective event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Photography Terms and Conditions

1. Copyright: 

a) The copyright Designs and Patents Acts assign the copyright of the images to Gorgeous You Photography. You (the Client) will be given a licence to use the images for your own promotion, as you wish.

2. License, Coverage and Reproduction:

a) Photographs taken during the course of the event will be at the discretion of the photographer, although every effort will be made to comply with the clients requirements.

b) The photographer shall be granted artistic license in relation to the poses photographed, the locations used and the digital editing. The photographer's judgement regarding these matters shall be deemed correct.

c) Due to a variety of lighting conditions and the limitations of digital sensors, some colours may alter throughout a set of photographs.

d) Although all equipment is checked regularly and reasonable steps are taken to ensure backup equipment is available, the photographer will not be responsible for photographs that are not produced due to technical failure.

e) All digital negatives (computer files) remain the property of the photographer. All digital negatives (computer files) may only be used by the Client for personal and promotional use.

3. Display: 

a) The photographer reserves the right to for any photograph created during sessions to be displayed in the studio, portfolio, or in any other advertising and marketing directly associated with Gorgeous You Photography, unless the client expresses a wish for their image(s) not to be displayed, which must be put in writing. Confidentiality of the client is paramount.

4. Data Protection:

a) With your permission and/or where permitted by law, I may use your personal data for marketing purposes, which may include contacting you by email, telephone, text message and/or post with information, news, and offers on my products and services. You will not be sent any unlawful marketing or spam. I will always work to fully protect your rights and comply with my obligations under the GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, and you will always have the opportunity to opt-out.

5. Personal Accident or Damage to Property:

a) Any directions issued to clients during a photographic shoot are deemed to be at the Client's own risk. The photographer cannot be held responsible for any personal accidents during a photographic shoot.
